PluggMar - air-heat element
The PluggMar system is literally the icing on the cake of our product range.
Because it offers you an additional feature: the PluggMar air-heat element provides a cosy room temperature in addition to ideal room air quality. The PluggMar air-heat element is a fresh air dispenser and "radiator" in one. The system is distinguished by quick reaction times (10 times quicker than conventional radiators, 50 times quicker than floor heatings). This enables extraneous heat (due to solar radiation, persons, household devices, internal light sources etc.) to be used in an energy-saving manner and pointless overheating of the rooms to be avoided. The warm air escaping from the air-heat element heats the nearby wall surfaces and in this way creates a cosy thermal radiation atmosphere. Furthermore, measurements at the FH Rosenheim have demonstrated that the special structure of the PluggMar as air outlet ensures even room temperature distribution (difference in temperature between the floor and ceiling of approx. 1 °C).
The PluggMar air-heat system combines the advantages of a hot water heating (excellent heat storage capacity) with the advantages of an air heating (quick heat transfer) without featuring the disadvantages of the afore-mentioned systems.
The disadvantage of hot water heatings is their slow reaction times and the disadvantages of air heatings are the large amounts of air required, the relatively high temperatures, the strong air motion and the risk of swirling dust and dust carbonisation. Particularly disadvantageous is that air is a poor carrier of heat and therefore requires a four times higher mass flow rate and a 3300 times higher flow rate than water for the transport of the same amount of heat! PluggMar represents fresh air and gentle heat with all system advantages!
Installation and function

The air-heat element can be supplied by means of any desired heating system which provides the design temperatures, e.g. condensing boilers.
PluggMar installation with heating lines in the PK200 PluggFlex duct
The heating source is connected to a conventional heating manifold from where the connection lines (PEX or composite piping) are led in the ventilation duct to the PluggMar. This is how the heat is transferred: hot water flows through the heat exchanger in the air-heat element. The supply air flows through the ventilation duct from the nozzle equipped air chamber through the heat exchanger into the room. The generated vacuum additionally induces room air and, in this way, increases the heating capacity considerably. In contrast to conventional radiators, the heat is transferred also at low flow temperatures due to the forced air flow.
Design variants
The PluggMar air-heat element is available in different versions for different requirements. There are also different variants of the high-quality faceplates.
The main attraction: alternatively to the glass faceplate, any plate can be designed as design faceplate according to one's own desires and personal taste - wallpapered like the room or even a picture - anything is possible!
